Translating Research to Innovation to Venture (R2I2V) is a training and education process. The ecosVC R2I2V training process builds value for both the innovation and the innovator. ecosVC provides scientists and engineers with a full range of vocabulary and skills needed to become successful and fully engaged participants in the translation of research into commercial ventures.
Offerings:
Lens of the Market is a 1-day workshop developed to provide teams of STEM university students, post docs & faculty with a rapid introduction to the vocabulary, skills, tools, and road map needed to engage in successfully translating their research into innovations.
Innovation Intensive is an immersive program consisting of 2 workshops and 3-6 months of intervening work designed to help teams identify potential innovations based on their research and the relevant markets, conduct a market analysis and develop and realign their research plans.
Advising Intensive is an immersive program designed to enhance the success of research ideas that have passed muster through Lens of the Market and InnovationLab and are ready for the next step – conversion into a venture or licensing opportunity.
